Ik wist het al voor ik er aan begon, die naaichallenges, tis niks voor mij eigenlijk … Op dinsdag niks genaaid, maar op woensdag wel de begonnen short helemaal afgewerkt ! Op donderdag weeral prijs, 2 patronen voor mezelf getekend, oepsie …. Maar nu terug naar de short. Het is een raar model, en die achterzakken staan echt wat bizar, maar er stond wel degelijk naai op 2,5 cm van de bovenrand ?? Ondanks het feit dat ik voor de taille een 122 nam en die verlengde naar een 152, vind ik het een breed model. We zien wel als de mini-man het aan heeft, en het voelt toch al comfortabel en het ziet er wat gekleed uit, dus ik denk wel dat hij het leuk zal vinden. Als hij ze leuk vindt, volgen er nog, want het is een makkelijk patroon en het resultaat is toch een mooie short.
I knew it before I started, these sewing challenges are not my cup of tea … So no sewing done on Tuesday, but on Wednesday I managed to finish the shorts. On Thursday again a fail, only 2 patterns for myself drafted, oupsie …. Back to the shorts, they are a somewhat awkward model, the back pockets are placed rather bizar, but the instructions did say to sew them at 2,5 cm of the top border. Although I drafted a size 122 for the waist and lengthened them to a 152, they seem pretty wide. Let’s wait until my mini-man wears them, since the fabric feels comfy and they look pretty classy, so I guess he will approve. If he likes them, I will definitely re-use the pattern, since it was easy to make and the shorts look nice.
Ondertussen kreeg ik een vermelding op Instagram in the story van Kids Clothes Week en daar ben ik best fier op.
